Type: Part-Time (2 Days per Week)
Compensation: $300 per week ($150 per day flat rate)
Flat rate covers all labor, travel time, and vehicle/fuel expenses.
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and self-motivated individual to manage the restocking and maintenance of a 19-machine vending route. This role is ideal for retirees, rideshare drivers (Uber/Lyft), or parents looking for a consistent, guaranteed weekly income. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our machines are full, clean, and functioning perfectly for our customers in local schools and private businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Restocking: Efficiently load snacks and beverages into machines according to specific inventory plans.
Inventory Management: Accurately track what is loaded and return empty containers/crates to the central storage unit.
Storage Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly storage area; assist with putting away new inventory shipments as they arrive.
Basic Maintenance: Perform light cleaning of machine glass and touchpoints; report any technical errors or mechanical issues immediately.
Route Efficiency: Complete the assigned 8-machine daily circuit (approximately 6–8 hours depending on pace).
Technical Repairs: Perform “swaps” and light repairs on-site, including:
Replacing credit card readers (Nayax/Cantaloupe).
Swapping out malfunctioning coin mechs or bill validators.
Clearing product jams or motor errors.
Troubleshooting: Use the machine’s digital display to identify error codes and follow simple manuals to reset or fix the issue.
Requirements
Reliable Transportation: Must have a personal vehicle with sufficient cargo space to transport several crates of product (SUV, Minivan, or large Sedan recommended).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (cases of water/soda) and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and clearing of machine spirals.
Security Clearance: Must be willing to undergo a Level 2 background check (fingerprinting) to comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act (JLA) for access to school properties.
Professional Conduct: Ability to strictly adhere to no-tobacco, no-vaping, and drug-free policies while on school and business grounds.
U.S. Citizenship: Required for site access at specific high-security contract locations on this route.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using a smartphone app to log inventory and communicate with the owner.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Lives within a reasonable distance of the Orlando/Kissimmee area to minimize commute.
Strong attention to detail (noticing when a product is stuck or a machine looks dusty).
Prior experience in delivery, retail stocking, or route-based work is a plus.
Highly organized and takes pride in keeping a workspace (and storage unit) tidy.
Schedule
Two consistent days per week (to be coordinated with the owner).
Approximately 12–16 hours of work per week.
Why this Role?
Unlike gig work where pay fluctuates, this position offers a guaranteed $300 weekly flat rate. You will have the independence of being on the road with the stability of a set schedule and a local business owner who values your contribution to the team.
